North FairmountThe community of North Fairmount hosted a cleanup on Saturday, May 11. The Council was delighted to participate in collaboration with the North Fairmount Community Center, North Fairmount Community Council, Cincinnati Park Board, and MSD. Thank you to everyone who came out to help make North Fairmount a cleaner place!

Volunteers Needed for Water Quality Monitoring
Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, funders and partners, we have successfully begun a monitoring program on the Mill Creek! We are monitoring for water chemistry at 25 sites across the watershed on the second Saturday of each month. Are you interested in stream sampling or working in the lab? Contact us to get involved in assessing the state of the Mill Creek.

Bruce Koehler Wins Award for Individual Excellence
Congratulations to Bruce Koehler for winning the Award for Individual Excellence at the 2013 Ohio Stormwater Conference. Bruce has dedicated over 20 years to protecting and improving the region’s unique water issues, especially in the Mill Creek.

Mill Creek Cleanup with P&G Employees
We cleaned up! The Mill Creek Watershed Council of Communities thanks the volunteer employees from Procter & Gamble and PSARA Technologies for participating in the Mill Creek cleanup on Friday, April 26. With the help of all our hard-working volunteers, we were able to collect an enormous amount of trash. We appreciate everyone who came out!
