The Mill Creek Yacht Club held a canoe outing on Saturday, July 26. We paddled from Carthage to the yellow Millcreek Road Bridge in Northside. Among the 17 paddlers, 9 of them were welcomed as new crewmates. We had to wait out an unexpected pop-up thunderstorm, but the lightning was stunning!
Over $350,000 will be invested in green infrastructure on the Roberts Academy campus. The project delivers sustainable stormwater management, water quality improvement, a desired community amenity in the form a newly-landscaped detention basin with a recreational trail and educational signage, and an outdoor classroom for Roberts Academy students.
On the early morning of July 12, 2014, five adventurous members of the Mill Creek Yacht Club paddled Winton Lake. They were witness to the beautiful full moon and sunrise that morning. Jeff Agricola and Chip Skidmore took great photos of their conquest.
