State of the Mill Creek Report 2017
The Mill Creek is making a comeback! You know we’ve worked hard when we can say we pulled 1,580 pounds of trash and 52 tires out of the Mill Creek during the Upper Mill Creek Cleanup, inducted our 1,000th crewmate to the Mill Creek Yacht Club, and maintained a full calendar of recreational and project-related events in 2016.
If you were at any of our events this last year, we thank you for your efforts – we are making a difference together! If you weren’t able to make any of these events, what’s stopping you?
We have something for everyone and are active throughout the watershed. Would you like to hear more about our projects, programs, and water quality data? We’ll present this information at our annual State of the Mill Creek Report on Tuesday, February 28th at the Dan Beard Council.
All are welcome to hear a summary of the many project and program accomplishments and a brief report on the water quality data that was collected and analyzed by more than 50 citizen scientist volunteers in 2016. The Council is delighted to recognize the hundreds of volunteer hours and supporter contributions that made 2016 a success. Big thank you to all of our supporters, volunteers and contributors!
When: Tuesday, February 28 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Dan Beard Council, 10078 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH 45215
RSVP: firstname.lastname@example.org or 513-563-8800
We would love to see you there and thank you for your support. Your contributions put projects in the ground that improve our water resources and benefit communities.
