There is rich heritage and boundless opportunity in the Mill Creek Watershed and the Council is working to ignite action to position the Mill Creek as a regional asset. Through a series of six charrettes, we worked with over 250 planners, community partners, and watershed constituents to gather vital information on the direction and future of the Council.
Mill Creek Watershed Strategic Plan
The goal of these interactive meetings was to engage partners in the strategic planning process for a watershed approach to a restored Mill Creek. We addressed areas such as flood risk reduction, water quality & habitat restoration, education & outreach, recreation & quality of life, economic development, stormwater management, and stakeholder collaboration. A special thank you to our Strategic Plan Committee for their on-going work on the Strategic Plan.
